History and Ethics of Cannons

Cannons have been used throughout time and in times of war throughout the world. First used in China for war, it spread to become a powerful weapon of war. Used in early battles like Battle of Ain Jalut and Siege of Calais; later in Battle of Breitenfeld 1631 and the American Civil War; and for modern uses now. The ethics of cannons have greatly debated because some people think that cannons are used for good uses as defending a country from enemies. Some people think that they are dangerous weapons of mass destruction that no one should ever use again.
